Kindle HDX 8.9 Discontinued?

I was comparing tablets – eventually will need to replace the Toshiba Portege that I use for blogging and travel. Although stable lately, the wi-fi chipset has never worked quite right and disconnects constantly from my home router.

I was looking at the iPad air versus the kindle HDX 8.9.  After reading a few reviews I went to the Amazon site to look at a side-by-side comparison.  I noticed that the memory LTE option I would want was not in the comparison, so I decided to price one out with 64-bit memory and 4GLTE – surprise! Is Campbell’s Cream of Onion Soup Back?

A few years back, we discovered that could no longer find this soup. My wife contacted the Campbell Soup Company who informed her that “due to changing consumer tastes” this particular variety was discontinued. We had a problem since this was the base ingredient for one of our favorite dishes, enchilada pie. Then, yesterday she came back from the store with a bag full of cans of cream of onion soup. My wife said she bought all they had because she didn’t know if it was some sort of fluke. I hope it’s back to stay. My rough attempt at the recipe for enchilada pie (apologies to my friend Stan Strom) is under the recipes page menu on my site.

So, I found my children playing. My son, with his sister’s urging, had started his own tax practice.

Now, even at this young age, they knew they needed a tag line and a way to differentiate their business.  Interesting that we as adults just can’t seem to grasp this simple technique. We tell ourselves it isn’t necessary. Well, even with the second-grade spelling, we get the point.

Orange juice and diet 7-up

This may sound a little silly, but it’s great. It’s easy to make and once you have it a few times it doesn’t seem like breakfast without it. Now I live in the desert, so that may make some difference. A light refreshing drink goes a long way in enhancing the quality of life – stretches the orange juice as well.  We seem to run out constantly.

Ingredients –

  • orange juice (we use minute maid concentrate, pulp free) and
  • diet 7up –

Pour the orange juice a glass about one-half way up, then add the diet 7up. Can fizz up sometimes, like pouring beer, you have to decide how much foam you like.
